Life’s pungent and thrilling

When carving knowledge in students’ minds

While laughing heartily at their involuntary tresspasings

Life’s peaceful and optimistic

When looking at the bulging belly

Of my sister-in-law, bearing the bud of a new life

Life’s unbearable in its daily demands

Yet throbbing with new projects to take shape

Against all odds and men’s unwillingness to move on
